My Little Girl is Growing Up

Yup, that's you. The latest, you sit up ALL BY YOURSELF. One night I sat you up as an exercise to help you sit up in the future. Strengthen your core strength and all that. Maybe we were doing some kind of "grab my fingers and do baby crunches" kinda thing... and then you stayed sitting. And stayed sitting. And stayed sitting. After a few minutes of amazement, mommy got it into her head that HERE WAS A MOMENT and she grabbed the camera. At first I hit the camera button but then 2nd realization: this is a VIDEO moment.



And sitting up is not only a cool circus trick we can show to friends and family :) JK, it has proven to be quite useful as well - this last part is true. Mommy actually gets about 15 extra minutes a day of hands-free time because your sitting up has made playing with things more interesting.

I think your very favoritest toy is paper right now. Whenever poppi or mommy are reading or writing something, you drop whatever toy it is you've got and you grab for the paper. If it's out of reach, you stare really, really hard at it.

Anyway, you talk and smile more but you're still a serious little girl and did I mention the teething? And you still like being held most of the time so you're not growing up soooo fast after all.

Oh yeah, and we're moving to Thailand...
